Councilor Dolan was elected to the Sunnyside City Council in January 2026. He previously served in leadership roles as a superintendent on multiple construction projects and dedicated 24 years as an educator in welding, construction, and manufacturing.

Councilor Dolan and his wife, Sharon, have been married for 46 years and are proud parents of four accomplished children.

His family has deep roots in the Sunnyside community. His mother was a founding member of the Migrant Council, and his father was owner of Walter’s Drug Store, formerly located at 6th Street and Edison Avenue.
