PROJECT INFORMATION

The Yakima Valley Overlay Project aims to improve the condition of the road surface by milling, crack sealing, paving, and striping. The scope of work includes the entire stretch of Yakima Valley Highway from S. 1st Street to S. 6th Street. During the construction period, there will be temporary lane closures to ensure the safety of workers and pedestrians. Please plan your routes accordingly and respect the designated speed limits that are in place. Access to businesses will remain open throughout the project. The contractor will make the necessary arrangements to minimize any inconvenience caused, but it is essential to be prepared for potential delays.

PROJECT SCHEDULE

The construction period will last for 12 days, starting from September 30, 2024, and ending on October 11, 2024. The hours of construction will be from 7 AM to 3:30 PM during the weekdays. There will be no work performed at night or on the weekend. We understand the importance of minimizing disruptions to your business operations, and we will make every effort to complete the project within the specified timeframe.
