Senior Center


Sunnyside's Senior Center is a multipurpose facility with a large meeting hall, kitchen, dining tables and shaded outdoor patio area. 50 years and older is welcome to come down and join us for the following programs:

Lion's Club
Looking to make a difference in the community? Join Lion's Club the second and fourth Thursday of every month at the Senior Center. Their mission is to empower volunteers, and partners to improve health and well-being, strengthen communities, and support those in need through humanitarian services and grants that impact lives globally, and encourage peace and international understanding. Project Linus:

Looking to make an impact on a young child in the hospital? Join the Project Linus Yakima County Chapter at the Sunnyside Senior Center on the second Wednesday of each month! Project Linus' mission is to provide love, a sense of security, warmth and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need through the gifts of new handmade blankets and Afghans, lovingly created by volunteer “blanketeers.” The Yakima County Project Linus Chapter provides a rewarding and fun service opportunity for interested individuals and groups in local communities, for the benefit of children.


Eedilee's Toe Care:

Offering Discount toenail services to all seniors 60+ typically on the second Monday and last Wednesday of each month! Proof of income is NOT required, but there is a form to fill out at the Center. Contact Melidee Cussins at 509-790-1905 for questions and to schedule your appointment.
