Through a generous grant provided by Yakama Cares and Legends Casino and Hotel, the Sunnyside Fire Department (SFD) is offering free smoke alarms for those with demonstrable need within the City of Sunnyside and those within the surrounding local area.

The goal of the SFD smoke alarm program is to offer (or install in the home) a smoke alarm free of charge for residents who cannot physically or financially do so for themselves.

We cannot replace or service any hard wired alarms.

IF YOU RENT YOUR HOME: If you rent your home or room, please review your renters agreement to determine the responsibility of ensuring there is a working smoke alarm in your residence.
