When are visiting hours, and what do I need to bring?

Effective June 20, 2019, visitation days have changed to the following schedule:

Monday: PODS 100 & 400

Tuesday: PODS 200 & 500

Wednesday: PODS 300 & 600

Thursday: PODS 400 & 100

Friday: PODS 500 & 200

Sunday: PODS 600 & 300

*Inmate Workers: Daily as available by staff

**Holding and Segregation: Weekdays as available by staff and only if not sanctioned

Each session is 30 minutes with a maximum of two visitors per session. Each inmate with visiting privileges is allowed one 30 minute session per visiting day only. Visiting hours are from 7:30 PM-9:00 PM. The last sessions start at 8:30 PM.

Visitors must bring some form of official ID. Examples include:

  • Alien registration
  • Driver's license
  • Military ID
  • Passport
  • State issued ID
  • Tribal ID

Visitors are accepted on a first come first served basis. All dress codes and rules posted in kiosks and signs must be strictly followed or session will be canceled and further visits may be denied.

An application must be filled out and submitted by each new visitor. 

Remote/Online Visiting

The Sunnyside Jail has partnered with VisiTel to provide the family and friends of inmates an opportunity for remote/online visiting. To register for this service:

1) Go to www.visitel.us on a computer, phone, or tablet

2) Register your account with your email

3) Click on the visitation tab

4) Follow online instruction
