Pedestrian Improvements Project Phase 2 Started on June 17, 2025

The City of Sunnyside has officially kicked off Phase 2 of the Pedestrian Improvements Project! Work begins on June 17, 2025 and is expected to be completed by July 14, 2025. Crews will be working Monday through Thursday at various sidewalk intersections to improve safety and accessibility for pedestrians. No major traffic impacts are expected, but we encourage drivers and pedestrians to use extra caution around active work zones. Please refer to the map below for specific work areas marked with red dots.
