Our Public Works Department had the pleasure of giving back to our community just in time for the holidays!

We were able to bless client’s families from, “The Lighthouse – Advocacy, Prevention & Education Center” along with “Washington State Dept. of Children, Youth & Families aka DCYF”.

Both agencies are located here in Sunnyside. The Lighthouse is a Non-Profit agency who serves survivors of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault in the valley. DCYF is an agency who provides services to Foster Care Children & Families.

On behalf of our Public Works Department, we would also like to thank Yakima Waste Systems for allowing us to be a part of this year’s Christmas Bike Donations.

Giving is not just about making a donation. It is about making a difference is someone’s life.
