Yakima Valley Highway will be Under Construction

Construction Scheduled for 08/21/2023 - 09/22/2023

We are thrilled to share some exciting news with the Sunnyside community! The Washington State Transportation Improvement Board (TIB) and the Sunnyside Transportation Benefit District (TBD) have joined forces to fund the Yakima Valley Highway Overlay Project.

We want to assure you that throughout the construction period, the roads will remain open for your convenience. However, as with any construction project, we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation during this time. Please expect some traffic delays as we work to improve our transportation infrastructure.
