IMPORTANT UPDATE: NEW UTILITY PRICING DETAILS

Dear Valued Customer, 

We are writing to inform you of some changes to our utility pricing that will take effect on January 1, 2026. The rates for water, sewer, stormwater, and garbage will increase 5%. The new fee schedule will be displayed on the city’s website mid-December for review.

The increase to the utility billing services is to support and maintain services, growth, and repairs necessary to keep Sunnyside utilities in full operation. While we understand the hardship an increase can cause for some individuals, we encourage all residents within the poverty limits, disabled, or a senior citizen to apply for low-income, senior citizen, or disability discounts.
