Fireworks Permit Application Now Available Online!
Get ready to celebrate the Fourth of July safely and legally in Sunnyside! Residents who wish to discharge fireworks within city limits are required to obtain a fireworks permit and for your convenience, applications are now available online.
Application Period:
June 23, 2025 – July 3, 2025 at 11:59 AM. Permits will not be available after the deadline.
How to Apply:
Visit our online permit portal: https://bit.ly/SunnyFireworks
Once your application is complete and payment is submitted, you’ll receive a confirmation email.
Permit Fee:
$50.00 per permit
Pick Up Required Yard Sign:
After applying online, bring a printed copy of your permit or your confirmation email to City Hall to pick up your required yard sign. This sign must be displayed in your front yard while discharging fireworks.
Legal Fireworks Only:
Please ensure that your fireworks are legal in the State of Washington.
