Subject: City of Sunnyside Temporarily Closing City Hall to the Public on May 16
Sunnyside, WA — The City of Sunnyside will close City Hall to the public on Friday, May 16, 2025, to allow staff to dedicate the day to fulfilling a high volume of City Council and public records requests.
City Manager Mike Gonzalez stated, “We are committed to transparency and accountability. This temporary closure will allow our team to prioritize and fulfill these important requests in a timely manner.”
City services will resume normal public hours on Monday, May 19, 2025.

Sunnyside, WA — La Ciudad de Sunnyside cerrará el Ayuntamiento al público el viernes 16 de mayo de 2025 para que el personal pueda dedicar el día a atender un gran volumen de solicitudes del Ayuntamiento y de registros públicos.
El administrador municipal, Mike Gonzalez, declaró: “Estamos comprometidos con la transparencia y la rendición de cuentas. Este cierre temporal permitirá a nuestro equipo priorizar y atender estas importantes solicitudes de manera oportuna».
Los servicios municipales regresaran a su horario normal de atención al público el lunes 19 de mayo de 2025.
