Subject: Sunnyside Noon Rotary Confirms 2025 Cinco de Mayo Festival

The Sunnyside Noon Rotary Club has officially confirmed the dates for this year’s Cinco de Mayo Festival, scheduled to take place May 2–4, 2025, in downtown Sunnyside.

The announcement follows a coordination meeting held on Tuesday, March 25, at Sunnyside City Hall. In attendance were Noon Rotary Club representatives, City Manager Mike Gonzalez, and officials from the Communications/Marketing, Police, Fire and Public Works departments. President Sierra Foster and President Elect Victoria Hernandez are leading the Noon Rotary Club in organizing this vibrant and cherished community tradition.

The Club confirmed the 2025 festival will feature a full weekend of family-friendly activities, including a carnival, Charro Competition, car show, parade, and live music. Weekly updates with details on the event schedule, featured performers, and safety plans will be provided by the Club.

“We appreciate the hard work the Sunnyside Noon Rotary Club has undertaken in bringing this beloved annual event to our community,” said City Manager Mike Gonzalez. “We look forward to a fun, safe, and successful celebration.”

The Club received funding through the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) to support the event and will also be reaching out to local businesses and organizations for additional sponsorships. The City of Sunnyside is proud to support the festival through marketing, public resources, and community engagement efforts.

The Club is no longer accepting vendor applications at this time but community members, volunteers, and car show/parade participants seeking more information or wishing to get involved are encouraged to contact Victoria Hernandez. For event updates and inquiries, visit www.sunnysidenoonrotary.com.
