🚧 Six-Year Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) 🚧
We're excited to share that the City Council recently received a presentation from HLA Engineering regarding our Six-Year Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP). The TIP is a strategic plan that outlines the city's transportation projects and priorities for the next six years. It includes road improvements, pedestrian and bike paths, and other infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing mobility and safety for all residents.
This plan is crucial as it helps us identify and prioritize projects that will improve our transportation network, making it safer and more efficient for everyone.
For those interested, the plan and full presentation is available online. A public hearing is scheduled on July 22, 2024 we encourage the community to attend or submit your comments to comments@sunnyside-wa.gov

Nos complace compartir que el Concejo Municipal recibió recientemente una presentación de HLA Engineering sobre nuestro Plan de Mejora del Transporte de Seis Años (TIP). El TIP es un plan estratégico que describe los proyectos y prioridades de transporte de la ciudad para los próximos seis años. Incluye mejoras viales, senderos para peatones y bicicletas y otros proyectos de infraestructura destinados a mejorar la movilidad y la seguridad de todos los residentes.
Este plan es crucial ya que nos ayuda a identificar y priorizar proyectos que mejorarán nuestra red de transporte, haciéndola más segura y eficiente para todos.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing before the Sunnyside City Council will be held at the above location, date, time to receive comments and recommendations concerning an amendment to the 2025-2030 City’s Six-Year Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP). The city annually prepares, reviews and adopts a program for transportation improvements for the ensuing six-year period, all as contemplated and required by state and federal law. Any citizen wishing to comment on this request is welcome to attend or join our zoom meeting (information provided on the agenda) or submit written comments to the City Clerk via email to comments@sunnyside-wa.gov or mail to 818 E. Edison Avenue, Sunnyside, WA 98944 by noon on July 22, 2024.
