Subject: City of Sunnyside Announces First “Coffee with a Councilor” Event

The City of Sunnyside is excited to announce the launch of our new community engagement initiative, “Coffee with a Councilor.” The first event will take place on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 8 AM at Rise Bakery, and we are pleased to feature Deputy Mayor Jorge Galvan as our first council member to host this event.

“Coffee with a Councilor” provides a unique opportunity for residents to meet with their City Council members in an informal setting to discuss issues, share ideas, and get to know their elected officials. This initiative is designed to foster open communication and strengthen the relationship between the City Council and the community.

We look forward to seeing you there and hearing your thoughts on how we can continue to improve our wonderful community. We hope to have these events a few times a month, depending on council availability.
