Assault with a Firearm Case

On 09/01/24 at 11:06PM Sunnyside Police responded to the report of shots fired in the 1100 block of E. Decatur Ave. Detectives have several leads they are following up on at this time. There was a victim located at an address on Decatur Ave. with a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim a 33 year old male is stable and receiving treatment. UPDATE 09/03/2024

As of 9/3/24, Orlando Cisneros a 22 year old Sunnyside resident has been arrested for Assault 1st degree (RCW 9A.36.011), Drive by Shooting (RCW 9A.36.045) and Felon in Possession of a Firearm (RCW 9.41.040).

The Sunnyside Flock Cameras and diligent work by patrol and detectives were instrumental in the apprehension of Mr. Cisneros.
