The ambulance fleet consists of three 2006 Life Line Ambulances mounted on a Ford E-450 Chassis. The units were designed by the Sunnyside Fire Department and built by Life Line Emergency Vehicles Inc. in Sumner, Iowa. The units were put in service in November 2006 and are equipped with a Stryker EZ-Pro Rugged cot and Stair Chair for moving patients. They have the most up-to-date cardiac heart monitor developed by Zoll Medical. Each monitor is 12-lead capable, and monitors blood pressures, oxygen saturation, and carbon dioxide outputs of the patient.
